NEVER WORRY ABOUT RUNNING OUT OF BATTERY
Four predefined battery modes – Performance, Endurance, Ultra and Tour – deliver from 25 hours to up to 170 hours* of recording time with GPS tracking on. When you start a recording, you’ll get an estimate of how much battery you have left with the current mode. If it’s not enough, switch to another mode at any time.
Suunto 9 uses smart reminders based on your activity history, to help ensure you are fully charged for your next outing. If the watch notices you are running low on battery during an exercise, it will automatically suggest changing to a different battery mode.

Suunto 9 Baro is designed and built to meet the needs of the most demanding athletes and adventurers. Like all Suunto watches, it has been thoroughly tested by Suunto’s internal testing team and athletes all over the world, with thousands of hours of real use in the toughest conditions. Suunto 9 Baro has also been tested against US military standard 810H and passed several tough tests including extreme temperatures, shock and drop, sand and dust, humidity, and freezing rain – so you can rely on it to confidently see you through any adventure!

On long ultra runs, battery life is often the limiting factor for recording distance and track accurately, as GPS is a heavy drain on the battery. Suunto’s unique FusedTrack™ algorithm combines GPS and motion sensor data to improve track and distance accuracy. This allows you to extend battery life by lowering GPS power without significantly compromising accuracy.

The Warranty Period is two (2) years for Watches, Smart Watches, Dive Computers, Heart Rate Transmitters, Dive Transmitters, Dive Mechanical Instruments, and Mechanical Precision Instruments unless otherwise specified.
The Warranty Period is one (1) year for accessories including but not limited to Suunto chest straps, watch straps, chargers, cables, rechargeable batteries, bracelets and hoses.
The Warranty Period is five (5) years for failures attributable to the depth measurement (pressure) sensor on Suunto Dive Computers.
